Millman at 7 :45 P. M. Pbll call- :Present- Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Absent- Trustee Peterson. -- ' The minutes of our regular meeting held August'10,­1937 and the special meetings held August 19, 1937 and August 31, 1937 were read and approved. ' The following ordinance was read : - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CHESTER WESSLI1TG9 VILLAGE CLERK, TO WITHDRAW FROM SALE ALL SPECIAL ASSESS - MENTS OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD FOR 1HICH THERE ARE NO BIDDERS WHEN OFFERED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRSIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, IN LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS: Section 1. It was moved by Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Stupple that the ordinance be adopted as read. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas— All. Nays— .None. Motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Hertel and seconded by Trustee Pottenger that bids be advertised for the proposed improvement for draining and grading the site for a traffic bound gravel or crushed stone surface course, which course is to be constructed by day labor as Section 1 —C.S. (Broadmoor,Place from Hazel to Greenwoodo Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas— Trustee Hertel, Palmer,- Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Nays— None. Motion carried. It was moved by Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Stupple to pay Five Dollars per month toward the services of a crossing gaurd at the intersection of Warrington and Deerfield Roads and that he be invested with the proper badge by the Police Committee. Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Pottenger, Schneider and Stupple. Those voting nNayl! being None. Moved by Trustee Stupple and seconded by Trustee Schneider that the plat of parts of Section 32 and 33 1 Twshp'43N, Range 12, E. of. the 3rd P. M. as submitted by James O. Connor be approved and��='" accepted and that the President and the Clerk of the Village of Deerfield be authorized to sign certificate attached thereto. Upon roll call the following vote was taken.
