ORDINANCE NO. 0-01-33
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 -24 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
TO CHANGE THE TIME WHEN REGULAR MEETINGS OF
DEERFIELD VILLAGE BOARD WILL CONVENE
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield have determined that regular
meetings of the Village Board shall be held at 7:30 p.m., prevailing time, on the first and third Monday of each
month;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, in the exercise of its home rule powers,
as follows:
SECTION 1: That paragraph (a) of Section 2 -24 (Regular and Special Meetings) of Chapter 2
(Administration) of the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
(a) The Board shall hold its regular meetings on the first and third Monday each month at
seven -thirty o'clock (7 :30) p.m., prevailing time, and no notice to the President and Board of such
regular meetings shall be required.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall be effective with the first regular Village Board meeting in October
2001, and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
