R-25-47 A RESOLUTION APPROVING CLOSED SESSION MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE BOARD AND FINDING THAT THERE IS A NEED FOR CLOSED SESSION MINUTES TO REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL WHEREAS, pursuant to the Illinois Open Meetings Act, 5 ILCS 120/1 et seq. ("Act'5 the Village Board has, from time to time, conducted meetings that that were closed to the public pursuant to the Act (collectively, the "Closed Meetings'5; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Act, the Village Board must keep and approve written minutes of all Closed meeting; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.06(d) of the Act, the Village Board has conducted its twice -annual review of all written minutes of the Closed Meetings of the Village Board to determine whether there is a need to keep certain minutes of the Closed Meetings confidential; and WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that the need for confidentiality remains for certain Closed Session Minutes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows: SECTION 1: RECITALS. The foregoing recitals are incorporated into, and made a part of, this Resolution of the findings of the Village Board. SECTION 2: APPROVAL OF DRAFT CLOSED SESSION MEETING MINUTES. The Village Board has reviewed the following set of draft closed session meeting minutes during the July 21, 2025, closed session meeting. The Village Board has determined the draft meeting minutes listed below shall be approved. December 16, 2024 February 3, 2025 March 3, 2025 March 17, 2025 April 7, 2025 April 21, 2025 Mav 5, 2025 June 16, 2025 SECTION 3: DETERMINATION OF CONFIDENTIALITY FOR CLOSED SESSION MEETING MINUTES. The Village Board hereby finds that a need for confidentiality still exists with respect to all of the minutes of the Closed Meetings for which the Village Board has not previously authorized public inspection. 4896-3600-8025, v. 1 SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution will be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval by a majority of the members of the Village Board.
