R-25-02 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF MINUTES OF CERTAIN CLOSED MEETINGS OF THE VILLAGE BOARD WHEREAS, pursuant to the Illinois Open Meetings Act, 5 ILCS 120/1 et seq. ("Act') the Village Board has, from time to time, conducted meetings that that were closed to the public pursuant to the Act (collectively, the "Closed Meetings'); and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Act, the Village Board must keep and approve written minutes of all Closed meeting; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.06(d) of the Act, the Village Board has conducted its twice -annual review of all written minutes of the Closed Meetings of the Village Board; and WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that some of the written minutes of Closed Meetings can be released at this time, while the need for confidentiality remains for others; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows: SECTION 1: RECITALS. The foregoing recitals are incorporated into, and made a part of, this Resolution of the findings of the Village Board. SECTION 2: APPROVAL OF DRAFT CLOSED SESSION MEETING MINUTES. The Village Board has reviewed the following set of draft closed session meeting minutes during the December 16, 2024, closed session meeting. The Village Board has determined the draft meeting minutes shall be approved. July 1, 2024 September 16, 2024 October 21, 2024 November 4, 2024 SECTION 3: RELEASE OF CLOSED SESSION MEETING MINUTES. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to make available for public inspection the Closed Meeting minutes from the Village Board meetings held on the following dates: None SECTION 4: DETERMINATION OF CONFIDENTIALITY. The Village Board has determined that a need for confidentiality still exists with respect to the minutes of all Closed Meetings that are not identified in Section 3 of this Resolution, and for which the Village Board has not previously authorized public inspection. SECTION 5: EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution will be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval by a majority of the members of the Village Board.
