BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield that the Municipal Code of 1946 be and the same
is hereby amended as follows:
1. Section 291 is hereby amended to read as follows:
11291 Fees.) The annual fee to be paid for vehicle licenses shall be as
follows:
Motor vehicles, electric motor vehicles, motorcycles and motor
bikes, (except motor trucks, motor coaches, motor omnibuses and
motor vehicles used for commercial purposes or for hire ..... $10.00
Motor trucks, motor coaches, motor omnibuses and other motor
vehicles used for commercial purposes or for hire:
One ton capacity $15.00
Over one ton and not over two ton 20.00
Over two ton capacity 25.00
The horsepower and weight shall be determined in the manner prescribed by
statute for determining these factors and for the purpose of fixing state
license fees."
2. Section 294 is hereby amended to read as follows:
11294 Time of payment.- license year.) Such license fee.or tax shall be due
and payable annually on or before the first day of March of each year, and
the license shall be for one year; provided that if the license is issued
for a period of six months or less, the fee to be paid shall be one half the
annual fee."
