RESOLUTION NO. R -15 -19
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINIG THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN
INTERNET SERVICES FROM COMCAST ENTERPRISE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield is a home rule unit of local governmental pursuant
to the provisions of Article VII, Section 6 of the Illinois Constitution; and
WHEREAS, the Village has received a proposal from Comcast Enterprise Services for the
provision of business class internet services to various Village offices and buildings for a term of
sixty (60) months and for a recurring total monthly charge of Two Thousand Two Hundred Thirty
& 20/100 ($2,230.20) Dollars; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Deerfield have determined that it
is in the best interests of the Village to authorize and approve a Master Services Agreement with
Comcast Enterprise Services for a term of sixty (60) months as provided in the Master Services
Agreement and Sales Order form dated August 20, 2015, which are hereby incorporated and made
a part of this Resolution by this reference;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
in the exercise of its home rule powers, as follows:
SECTION 1: That the corporate authorities of the Village of Deerfield do hereby
authorize and approve the Master Services Agreement and Sales Order form with Comcast
Enterprise Services dated August 20, 2015, for a service term of sixty (60) months and for total

monthly recurring charges of Two Thousand Two Hundred Thirty & 20/100 ($2,230.20) Dollars
for the provision of business class internet services to various Village offices and buildings.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be in fixll force and effect from and after its
passage and approval as provided by law.
