Abatement of Municipal Building Bond Tax
for 1957
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield, that:
The County Clerk of Lake County is hereby authorized and directed
to abate the tax of $15,325.00 hitherto provided for and levied in the
ordinance providing for the issuance of ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY -FIVE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($175,000.00) Municipal Building Bonds of the Village of Deerfield,
Lake County, Illinois, passed August 13, 1956, a copy of which is filed
with the County Clerk.
The Village of Deerfield has on hand sufficient funds to pay the
tax levied by the above- described ordinance for the fiscal year commencing
May 1, 1957 and the levy of the tax provided in the ordinance is unnecessaary.
Therefore the County Clerk is directed to abate and not spread the said tax.
