AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF DEPUTY
VILLAGE CLERK IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD AND
ESTABLISHING THE DUTIES THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, that:.
Section 1. There is hereby created the position of Deputy Village
Clerk in the Municipal. service 6f the Village of Deerfield.
Section 2. The President,-.with the approval of the Village Board
shall appoint the Deputy Village Clerk.
Section 3. The salary of this position shall be as from time to
time established by .Ordinance duly adopted by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield.
USection 4. The Deputy Village Clerk shall have all of the. duties
of the Village Clerk as authorized by statutes or ordinance. The
Deputy Village Clerk shall assist the Village Clerk in the perform-
ande of his duties, and in the absence of the Clerk shall perform
all of the duties of the Clerk.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
