ORDINANCE NO. 0 - 18 - 57
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY OR TERRITORY
IN SECTION 30,'TOWNSHIP 43 NORTH, RANGE 12, EAST OF
THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
TO THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD IN THE COUNTY OF LAKE
AND STATE OF ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, all of the owners of record and all of the electors residing
in the territory legally described as follows:
The East 51 rods of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 30,
Township 43 North, Range 12,.East of the 3rd Principal
Meridian, (except the East 448.0 feet of the South 335.08
feet thereof). Also the S 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4
(except the East 10 acres thereof) of Section 30, Township
43 North, Range 12, East of the 3rd Principal Meridian in
Lake County, Illinois
have executed a petition requesting the annexation of the above described
territory to the Village of Deerfield in the County of Lake and State of
Illinois, which said potion has been duly filed with the municipal clerk of
the Village of Deerfield as required by the Statutes in such case made and
provided; and
WHEREAS, the said petition stated that the territory hereinabove
described is not within the corporate limits of any municipality and that said
territory is contiguous to the Village of Deerfield and that the petitioners
include all of the owners of record of all of the land within said territory
and said petition has been duly made under oath of the petitioner therein; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield in regular
meeting duly convened have examined the said petition and the facts therein
stated and hereinabove recited and have found the said facts to be true and in
proper form and substances and conforming to the provisions of the Statutes in
such case made and provided; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees in said meeting has determined that the
above described territory is properly submitted to the municipal authorities of
the Village of Deerfield for.the purpose of annexation according to the provisions
of the Statutes in such case made and provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD IN THE COUNTY OF LAKE AND THE STATE OF
ILLINOIS:

SECTION 1. That the propebty or territory described as follows:
The East 51 rods of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 30,
Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the 3rd Principal
Meridian (except the East 448.0 feet of the South 335.08
feet thereof). Also the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4
(except the East 10 acres thereof) of Section 301 Township
43 North, Range 12, East of the 3rd Principal Meridian in
Lake County, Illinois
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Deerfield in the County
of Lake and State of Illinois.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval:
SECTION 3. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield in
the County of Lake and State of Illinois be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to file and record a certified copy of this ordinance together with
an accurate map of the above described annexed territory with the Recorder of
Deeds of Lake,County, Illinois.
