O-57-0325�" ORDINANCE NO. 0 - 3 - 57 1957 ELECTION ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, that; Section 1. There shall be a regular election of officers in the village on the 16th day of April,..1957. . Section 2. At such election there shall be elected a village president, a village clerk, and three village trustees. The ballot to be used in such election shall be in the form prescribed by statute, and it shall be the duty of the village clerk to see to the preparation of sufficient ballots for the a� election, and to cause a sample of such ballot to be published prior to the Uday of election in a newspaper,•of general circulation published in the village, and to cause to be provided the necessary election supplies for each voting district or precinct. Section . At least fifteen but not more than thirty days before the election the clerk shall ewase to be published in such newspaper a notice of election, which shall be substantially as follows: "NOTICE OF ELECTION. "On the 16th day of April, 1957, there will be a regular election in the Village of Deerfield to elect a village president, a village clerk, and three village trustees. The precincts and polling places shall be as follows: Precinct No. 1. All that part of the corporate limits of the Village of Deerfield lying north of the center line of Deerfield Road and west of the center line of Waukegan Road shall be precinct no. 1, with the polling place at the new Deerfield Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Illinois. Precinct No. 2. All that part of the corporate limits of the Village of Deerfield lying north of the center line of Deerfield Road and east of the center line of Waukegan hoad shall be precinct no. 2, with the polling place at the West Deerfield Township Hall, 602 Deerfield Road, Deerfield, Illinois. F'2.5 Precinct No. 3. All that part of the corporate limits of the Village of Deerfield lying south of the center line of Deerfield Road shall be precinct no. 3, with the polling place at the Deerfield 'Masonic Temple, 711 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Illinois. The polls shall be open from 6 A.M. to 5 P.M., Central Standard Time. Published by order of the President and Board of Trustees. Village President Village Clerk Section 4. For the purpose of such election, there shall be three precincts, as follows: K11 that part of theccorporate limits of the Village of Deerfield lying north of the center line of Deerfield Road and west of the center line of Waukegan Road shall be precinct no. 1, with the polling place at the new Deerfield Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Illinois. All that part of the corporate limits of the Village of Deerfield lying north of the center line of Deerfield Road and east of the center line of Waukegan Road shall be precinct no. 2, with the polling place at the West Deerfield Town- ship Hall, 602 Deerfield Road, Deerfield, Illinois. All that part of the corporate limits of the Village of Deerfield lying south of the center line of Deerfield Road shall be precinct no. 3, with the polling place at the Deerfield Masonic Temple, 711 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Illinois. Section 5. The judges and clerks of election shall be such as shall be hereafter discignated by the President and Board of Trustees to serve as election officials. Section 6. The said election and all matters pertaining thereto shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by st §tute for the conduct of regular election for village officers.
