AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 172
ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE
OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SEWERS AND DRAINS, AND
CONNECTION OF BUILDING SEWERS AND THE DIS-
CHARGE OF WATERS AND WASTES INTO THE PUBLIC
SEWER SYSTEMS, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR
VIOLATIONS THEREOF."
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and,Board of Trustees of.the Village
of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, that Section 502, Article IV, Ordinance
172 be amended to read as follows:
"There shall be two (2) classes of building sewer permits: (1) for
residential and commercial service,_and (2) for service to establishments
producing industrial wastes. In either case, the owner or his agent shall
make application on a form furnished by the Village. The permit application
shall be supplemented by any plans, specifications, or other information
considered pertinent in the judgment of the Village Engineer. A permit and
inspection fee shall be charged residential and commercial buildings in
accordance with the following schedule.
Commercial buildings, and residences
on Lots in an R -1 or R -3 zoned area
Residences-on Lots in an R -1 -A
zoned area
Residences on Lots in an R -2, R -4,
or R -5 zoned area
Multiple family dwellings
Sanitary Storm

A permit and inspection fee of ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) per acre or
portion thereof in the site of an industrial building shall be charged an
industrial building for connecting to a Sanitary Sewer, and FORTY FIVE DOLLARS
($45.00) per acre or portion thereof for connection to a,Storm Sewer. Such
permit fees shall be paid to the Village Collector prior to the issuance of
a permit for said connection."
This Ordinance repeals Ordinance No. 205, Passed August 6, 1956.
This Ordinance shall be effective from and after August 20, 1956.
