ORDINANCE NO. 16,D
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield that:
S @ction 1. This ordinance, when accepted by Guy Viti, shall be a contract
between Guy Viti and the Village of Deerfield.
Section 2. By acceptance of this ordinance, Guy Viti agrees to furnish
all labor and materials needed for the installation of a six -inch cast
iron water main with all necessary appurtenances thereto, in compliance
with the plans and specifications approved by the Village, of a length of
approximately 160 feet in the easement hitherto granted.by Guy liti to
the Village of Deerfield for the installation and maintenance of water
mains extending westerly from.Waukegan Road as shown on the attached plat
of survey; and a length of approximately 575 feet extending from the
intersection of the said easement to a connection with the water main
now lying in Northwoods Drive, such main to be along the easterly side
of Waukegan Road in a location to be designated by the Village Manager.
Section 3. Guy Viti shall perform all such work in full compliance
with the ordinances of the Village pertaining thereto and shall furnish
evidence of public liability and Workman's ComFensation Insurance
coverage satisfactory to the Village in connection therewith.
Section 4. Such mains, when laid, shall be and become a part of the
water distribution system of the Village.
Section5. The Village agrees to pay Guy Viti, his heirs, successors,
or assigns, the cost of such installation not to exceed the sum of
$4,963.00 solely from fees that may be received by the Village for connecting
of premises with the water mains above described until March 1, 1975; and
agrees to pay $352.00 for each connection on the west Bide of Waukegan
Road and $402.90 for each connection on the east side of Waukegan Road
to such gains.
Provided that Guy Viti: shall have no claim against theVillage
for reimbursement other than such connection fees when, as and if
recieved by the Village.
