ORDINANCE NO.i: 13
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY
OR TERRITORY IN SECTION 30, TOWNSHIP 43
NORTH, RANGE 12, EAST OF THE THIRD PRIN-
CIPAL MERIDIAN, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS,
TO THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD IN THE COUNTY
OF LAKE AND STATE OF ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, all of the owners of record and all of the electors
residing in the territory legally described as follows:
The South 103 feet of the South 406 feet
of the North 1032 feet of the East 233
feet of the South East quarter of the
North East quarter of Section 30, Township
43 North, Range 12, East of the 3rd P.M.
have executed a petition requesting the annexation of the above
described territory to the Village of Deerfield in the County of Lake
and State of Illinois, which said petition has been duly filed with the
municipal clerk of the Village of Deerfield as required by the Statutes
in such case made and provided; and
WHEREAS, the said petition stated that the territory hereinabove
described is not within the corporate limits of any municipality and
that the said territory is contiguous to the Village of Deerfield and
that the petitioners�Linclude all of the owners of record of-'all of the
land within said territory and also includes all of the electors residing
upon all of said territory and said petition has been duly made under
oath of all of the petitionerz;-.•and
WHEREAS' the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield in regular
meeting duly convened have examined the said petition and the facts there-
in stated and hereinabove recited and have found the said facts to be true
and in proper form and substances and conforming to the provisions of the
Statutes in such case made and provided; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees in said meeting has determined that
the above described territory is properly submitted to the municipal
authorities of the Village of Deerfield for the purpose of annexation
according to the provisions of the statutes in such case made and provided.
NOW, THEREOFRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD IN THE COUNTY OF LAKE AND THE STATE

SECTION 1. Tht the property or territory described as follows:

be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Deerfield in
the County of Lake and State of Illinois.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
SECTION 3. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield in
the County of Lake and State of Illinois be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to file and record a certified copy of this ordinance
together with an accurate.map of the above described annexed territory
with the Recorder o f Deeds of Lake County, Illinois.
