ORDINANCE NO. 1027
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD That:
There is hereby created the office of Fire Marshall. The Fire
Marshall shall make and cause to be made any inspections for the
detection of fire hazards in the village that may be authorized by
law or ordinance, shall make recommendations to the Board of Trustees
as to ordinances desirable for the prevention or elimination of fire
hazards and shall recommend any steps desirable for the purpose of
complete cooperation with the of=ficials of the Fire Protection
District.
The Fire Marshall shall be appointed by the President and
Board of Trustees and shall serve for a term of one year. He shall
receive a salary of ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($150.00) per year,
payable in equal monthly installments.
