OBJECTION TO COUNTY ZONING
WHEREAS the property described below is adjacent to the Village of
Deerfield, and all parts of said property are within one mile of the Village
of Deerfield, and
WHEREAS the proposed rezoning of said property to permit the use of
said property for a garbage disposal site is contrary to the public interest:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, that:
Section 1. The President and Board of Trustees hereby find that the
statements in the preambles to this resolution are true.
Section 2. The Village of Deerfield opposes the proposed rezoning of
the property described in Section 3 hereof, from its present classification
to any classification which would permit the use of said site for a sanitary
landfill or for any operation which would permit any disposal of garbage.
Section 3. The property referred to herein is
That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 33, Township 43
North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying
Southwesterly of the Southwesterly line of the right -of -way
of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad, in Lake
County, Illinois
