AMENDMENT TO LIQUOR LICENSE'PROVISIONS
Be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield, that:
Section 1. Section 228 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1946
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Term of License.) Each license granted hereunder, to be
effective on or after May 1, 1954, shall be for the term of from May
first until the following April 30th. Any applicant for a license must
pay the annual fee, regardless of the time when the license is issued,
C� and no refunds will be made and no fees will be prorated, provided, how-
ever, that licenses may be issued for the period from January 1, 1954
until April 30, 1954, upon payment of one third of the annual fee.for
such license."
Section 2. Section 229 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1946
is hereby amended to read as follows:
11229. Renewals.) All applications for renewals of licenses granted
hereunder must be in the hands of the President and Board of Trustees
not later than the first day of April of each year, in the years 1954
and following."
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect following its enact-
ment as required by law.
