GAS-LIGHTS-FOR DEERE PARK SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, that:
Section 1. The standards and requirements for street lights
required to be established by the Mayor and Board of Trustees under
Section 9.201, subparagraph 10, of the Municipal Code of Deerfield, 1963,
are hereby established for DEERE PARK SUBDIVISION, being a subdivision in
the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 43 North, Range 12 East of
the Third Principal Meridian in Lake County, Illinois, as follows:
(a) That at each street intersection and cul -de -sac there shall be
a gas street light containing at least three mantles, on the
public right -of -way.
(b) On each lot there shall be one gas light within 30' (thirty
feet) of the property line, said light to be maintained by
the homeowner at no expense to the Village, as set forth in
Dempster Home Development Company's letter of March 23, 1965,
attached.
(c) Street lights shall be installed in accordance with specifications
approved from time to time by the Mayor and Board of Trustees.
Section 2. The Mayor and Board of Trustees may from time to time
adopt further specifications for gas lights.
