AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE FIVE FOOT ALLEY WAY LOCATED
BETWEEN LOTS 8 AND 9 IN BRIERHILL SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, the strip of land in Brierhill Subdivision known as five foot
public way as shown on the plat recorded as Document No. 222755, in Book L
of plats, page 65, in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of the County of
Lake, •Waukegan, Illinois, was dedicated for use as a public aliey_wdy -jaand
!uch dddication'was duly accepted by the Village of Deerfield, and remains
in full force and effect, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield believes that the public interest will
be subserved by vacating the said alley way, and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been passed by the affirmative vote of at
least three - fourths of all aldermen or trustees, authorized by law, and
said vote has been entered -in the records of the corporate authorities,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by.the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois,
Section 1. The Village of Deerfield hereby vacates and surrenders all
title, right, and interest they may claim .'in the said five foot public way
lying between lots 8 and 9 in Brierhill, a Subdivision of the West half of
the East half of the North-East quarter (except the North 8.10 chains thereof)
and the'North 594.60 feet of the East 60 feet of the East half of the West
half of the North East quarter of Section 33, Township 43 North, Range 12,
East of the 3rd P.M, �akboCountyf Illinois, as shown on the plat recorded as
Document No":2`22755, in Book L of plats, page 65, in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds, of the County of Lake, Waukegan, Illinois.
2. All other streets and alleys located in the said Brierhill Subdivision
are to remain as said public. ways for the purposes dedicated.
3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from add after its
passage and -approval 4.9,,requlred by law.
