The commission found that the property known as American Legion Home Ldt 159.Block 1, Plat of the Town of Deerfield is owned and used by the American Legion for meeting and si1rilar purposes; th,,t strict compliance with Article 14, Paragraph D of the Zoning Ordinance of -the Village insofar as that section requires a twenty foot building line'-at the rear of the lot would cause undue hardship and would make it impossible for the owner of the premises to use the same to, its best advantage for the purposes for which it is zoned therein.,._and the commission also found . that granting a variance to permit the construction of a building in accordance with an application for a permit hitherto filed with the wall of the-building on the rear (East) lot line would not have a harmful effect on any neighboring property and would not adversely affect the use and enjoyment of any other property in the Village. Therefore the Board of Trustees hereby adopts the findings of the commission above referred to, and grants'a variance from the terms of the Zoning Ordinance permitting the American Legion to construct a building on the said premises with the end wall of the said building on the rear (East) lot line.
