AN ORDINAP�Cjd RLLATIV;� TO TAX ",VIZ FOR STR44T AND BRIDGZ.PURPOSM WHZR,r:AS, pursuant to the statutes of the State of Illinois, the Boerd of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, is authorized to levy for the said Village a tax for street and bridge purposes at a rate not to exceed .06% of the full fair cash 'value as equalized or assessed by toe Department of Revenue, and the said Hoard of Trustees may, by a three- fourths vote of the Trustees, levy an additional tax for street and bridge purposes at a rate of not to exceed .04166 percent of the full fair cash value as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue, of taxable property within the Village of Deerfield, and it is deemed for the beat interests of the Village that the necessary action be taken to levy the additional tax for street and bridge purposes. That it is the opinion of three- fourths of the Trustees of tha Village of Deerfield that a greater levy then .06% of the full fair cash value as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue of taxable property in the Village of Deerfield for street and bridge purposes is needed for the fiscal year beginning MFy 19 19529 and ending on April 309 1953, Section 2. That it is further the opinion of three- fourths of the said Trustees that an additional lavy is needed to be made and should be made so it is provided that an edditioni =l tax be levied for street and bridge purposes of .04166 percent of the full fair cash value as equalized or assessed by the Department or Revenue of the taxable property within the said �illage of Deerfield In addition to the levy of .06% of the full fair cash value ad equalized or assessed by tite Department of Revenue of taxable property within the said Village of Deerfield. Section The Village Clerk is hareby directed to file -,Pith the County Clerk of Lake County, Illinois, on or before the second Tuesday of Sppte.crber, 1952, a copy of this Ordinance duly certified by said Village Clerk.
