BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees! of
the Village of Deerfield, Illinois:, that;
1. Section 258 of Article II of Chapter 13 be amended
as: follows:
258. Applications.) It shall be unlawful to engage
in any of the following businesses or occupations without
paying the fee indicated;
Peddlers or Itinerant Merchants ......... $30.00 for
an annual license; $5.00 for daily license.
Junk Dealers ........ .............•...........30.00 for
an annual license; $5.00 for a daily license. ; 5t
Applications for such licenses shall be in writing to
the Village Clerk, in the absence of specific provision to
the contrary.. Each application shall state the name of the
applicant,,ithe license desired, and the location and time to

be covered:, as well as any other information which may be
needed for proper guidance of the village officials in issuing
the license applied for.
2., This ordinance shall be in force and effect after its
passage, approval and publication.
