ORDINANCE TO SET RATES FOR STREET & BRIDGE TAX
WHEREAS, the Sixty- seventh General.Assembly, by House
Bill ,650, provided that the governing body of each city and
village should establish by ordinance or resolution the tax
rate for each fund for which taxes may be levied,,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, that;
Section 1. The maximum tax rate for street and bridge
purpose& for the municipality shall be 0.0390 percent of the
full, fair, cash value of all taxable property in the munici-
pality as ascertained and set by law.
Section 2. A certified copy of this ordinance shall be
filed with the County Clerk within twenty days after its
adoption.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication
as provided by law.
