BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield, that:
Section 1. It is to the best interests of the
Village and the residents thereof that the alley running
westerly from Waukegan Road between Greenwood and Fair Oaks
Avenues to the alley lying immediately east of Park Avenue;
and the alley between Park Avenue and Waukegan Road from
Fair Oaks Avenue to Greenwood Avenue, be vacated.
Section 2. The said alley running westerly from
Waukegan Road between Greenwood and Fair Oaks Avenues to the
alley lying immediately east of Park Avenue; and the said
alley between Park Avenue and Waukegan Road from Fair Oaks
Avenue to Greenwood Avenue, be and the same is hereby vacated;
subject, however, to the right of the Village of Deerfield,
or any grantee of such rights from the village, to maintain,
repair, and replace any sewer or water pipes or mains, and
any wires, poles, conduits, or other utility equipment now
lying within such alley, and the right of the village or its
grantee to install new mains, pipes, poles, wires, conduits,
or similar equipment in such area.

Clerk of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois,
and as such, keeper of the records and-files of the said Village. I
do further certify that Ordinance No. 70 vacating the alley running east
and west immediately south of Hazel Avenue between Alden Court and Clay
Court was passed by the President and Board of Trustees at a regular
meeting thereof on the 12th day of February, 1951, those voting "Aye"
being Trustees Banfield, Hinchsliff, King, Meintzer, Peterson and Wilson -
(6); those voting "Nay" being None (0); all as appears in the records
and files of my office. The said ordinance was recorded April 12, 1952
as Document No. 754730.

We the undersigned owners of property bordering
the alley between Waukegan Road and Park Avenue, connecting
Greenwood and Fairoaks Avenue, wish this thoroughfare vacated
and agree to pay any fees that are required,

RESOLVED:
That the Soard deems it in the best interests of
the Village of Deerfield to vacate the alley running
north and south in the block bounded on the,north by
Greenwood Avenue, on the west by Park Avenue, on the
south by Fair Oaks Avenue, and on the east by Waukegan
Road, when the following conditions have been met and
subject to the retention of easements as the statute
requires for utilities:
1. Payment of compensation to the Village by
each land owner of $5.00 per 100 feet or
portion thereof abutting on the alley.
