AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICIT'
LICENSES.
Be it ordained by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois:
Section 1: That the General Municipal Code of
the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, passed and
approved under date of January 21, 1946, be and the same
hereby is amended in the following respects:
That Chapter 15, VEHICLE LICENSES, Section 291,
Fees, be amended by striking out all of said section
and concurrently substituting in lieu thereof a new
Section 291, to be and read as follows:
"291 Fees.) The annual fee to be paid for vehicle
licenses shall be as follows:
"Motor vehicles, electric motor vehicles, and motor -
cycles ( except motor trucks, motor coaches, motor
omnibuses and motor vehicles used for commercial
purposes or for hire) ........ ...................5.00

" Motorbikes..:,... ......... ...................... 3.00
"Motor trucks, motor coaches, motor omnibuses and
other motor vehicles used for commercial purposes or
for hire:
One ton capacity 6.00
Over one ton and not over
two ton 10.00
Over two ton capacity 15.00
"The horse power and weight shall be determined in the
manner prescribed by statute for determining these
factors for the purpose of fixing state license fees.n
