AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUILDING CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD AND AMENDING
THE SUBURBAN BUILDING REGULATIONS FOR
RESIDENCES MADE A PART OF THE BUILDING
CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD BY AN
ORDINANCE PASSED MAY 14, 1946.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That Section 23 of Article V of the
Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, adopted under
date of May 14, 1946, and the rules and regulations for the
construction, alteration, repair and conversion of buildings
for residential purposes contained in the Suburban Building
Regulations for residences, which rules and regulations were
adopted by reference by the adoption of the Building Code of
the Village of 'Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, adopted un-

der date of May 14, 1946, be amended /as follows:
"That those portions of Section 313 con-
tained in said Suburban Building Regula-
tions for residences which precede sub-
section A of said Section 313 are hereby
amended so that, as amended, they shall
be and read as follows:
"313 INTERIOR WALL AND CEILING FINISH.,
None shall be applied when moisture con-
tent of framing lumber remains over 19%.
"All shall have a minimum of one half of
.an hour fire rating in accordance with
the standards set by the N.B.F.U." If
