AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE BUILDING
CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD,
LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, BY SPECIFY-
ING CERTAIN FEES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE "COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the Building Code of the Village of
Deerfield adopted under date of May 14, 1916, as amended, be,
and the same is hereby, further amended as follows:
That Section 23, Regulations Adopted,
Sub - section (e), Electrical Fees, be amended by striking out
all of said Sub - section (e) and concurrently inserting in lieu
thereof and in substitution thereof a new Sub - section (e) to
be and read as follows:
"(e) Electrical fees.) The fee for the
approval of plans, inspections and tests for all
electrical wiring and apparatus installation shall be
as follows, provided that the electrical contractor
shall deposit twice the estimated inspection fees
with a minimum deposit of Ten Dollars ($10.00) from
which the following inspection fees shall be deducted
and the unused balance, if any, refunded upon final
inspection:
Base charge for light wiring or small motors..... x;1.50

Fixtures per outlet .............................. .05
Plug receptacles per outlet.... 005
Motors (-! (2 H.P. or over) 2 plus 5¢ a H.P......... 2.05

Wiring for electric signs @ $3 each ..... .. ..... .. 3.00"
SECTION 2: That the Building Code of the Village of
Deerfield adopted under date of May 14, 1946, as amended, be,
and the same is hereby, further amended as follows:

That Section 23, Regulations Adopted,
of the Building :Code of the Village of Deerfield be amended by
the addition of the new Sub - sections Q),(k),(1), to be and
read as follows:
"(j) Catch Basin Fees.) The fee for approving plans,
inspections, and tests for catch basins shall be Five
Dollars ($5.00) per each catch basin.
rr(k) Septic Tank Fees.) The fee for the approval of
plans, inspections, and tests of any septic tank shall.

"(1) Demolition of Building Fees.) The fee for inspec-
tion and surveillance of the demolition of buildings.

SECTION 3: That all ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby revoked.
