AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OP DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS BY
ADDING SECTIONS 90a, 9'0b and 900, ARTICLE
V, SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS COMMITTEE, CHAPTER
79 BOARDS .AND COMMISSIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DFXRFI.ELD,, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That the Municipal Code of Deerfield of.
1946 passed and approved under date of January 20 1946, be and
the same is hereby amended in .the following respect:
(a) By addition of Section 90d0 90b and 90c and
Article V. Special Assessment Consittee to Chapter ?r Boards
and Commissions to be read as follow.,
"Ar•t.icle V, Special Assessment Committee.
90a Croation) There is hereby: created the
Special Assessment Committee for the Village,
which shall consist of three members to be
appointed ly the President and the Board of
Trit tees. One member shall be designated
chalzman by the Board.
90b Term of. Office) Each of said committeemen
.shall hold or -lice until he resigns or until
another member Is appointed in his place.
90e Duties) The Special Assessment Committee
shall investigate all applications for fore-
closure filed with'the Board of Trustees and
shall report to the Board the recommendation
of the Committee with respect to the accept-
anee of the a plication and bid made."

(e) Electrical fees.) The fee for the approval of plans, inspections
and tests for all electrical wiring and apparatus installation shall
be as follows, provided that the electrical contractor Shall deposit
twice the estimated inspection fees with a minimum deposit of Ton
Dollars ($10,00) from which the following inspection fees shall be
deducted and th unused balance, if any, refunded upon final inspections

Section 23, Regulations adopted, Building Code
(j) Catch Basin Fees.) The fee for approving planso inspections, and
tests for catch basins shall be Five Dollars ($5p00) per each catch basin.
(k) Septic Tank Foes.) The fee for the approval of plans} inspections,
and tests of any septic tank shall ba Fifteen Dollars ($1"5j00) per
septic tank.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE, COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That the Municipal Code of Deerfield of

the same is hereby amended in the following respect:.
(a) By addition of Section 90a, 90b and 90c and
Article V, Special Assessment Committee to Chapter 7, Boards
and Commissions to be read as follows:
"Article V, Special Assessment Committee.

Special Assessment Committee for the Village,

chairman by the Board.
