A special meeting of the President and Board of Trusteea of the
Village of Deerfield was called to order by The President, James J.
Hood. at _ 3 ':.00 P. _ 2d.
Roll call- Present- Engstrom, Geary, Knaak, Segert and Selig.
Absent- Labahn.
It was moved by Trustee Fn atrom and seconded by Trustee Knaak
that the additional premium of $23'.63' due account C:orkmen's Compen-
sation Policy No. 6I56579 be paid to the Boehm Insurance Agency.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken : - Yeas Fngatrom,
Geary, Knaak, Segert and Selig Naya- None. Carried.
DONATION TO LIBRARY FUND

donate X25.00 from the General Fund to the Library Fund with endorce --
ment of the Fund in full.

With refererice to the paving of the intersection
of Osterman Avenue- and Grand Avenue, adjacent to your prop-
erty at the southeast corner of this intersection, I heg
to advise you that we have instructed the contractor on
this improvement to make the following adjustments in the
side walk g.radec and the grade of the ground. surrounding the
house on your property, as follows::
"-' Sidewalk on Osterman Avenue from the intersection
south to a point where the curb grade will conform. to the
existing- sidewalk will be rebuilt so- as to conform to the
curb. - grade of the pavement as__called _for in the ordinance
drawings. of this improvement. _
Sidewalk on Grand Avenue, from the intersection
east to a point where, the existing walks conform to the
curb grade will be rebuilt to conform_ to the curb Vradff as
called for in the ordinance drawings..*
You will be reimbur -o.ed by,. the contractor for the"
expens -es incurred in bricking up the window frame and din-
atallirg new- windows. in the basement wall on the west side
of your house. The contractor will grade up the, ground'_i.r
aurrou4ding your house- to conform to the new sidewalk grades.
The sidewalk at the rear of your house will he adjusted': to"
meet the grade of the new sidewalk in Osterman Avenue. Any
other minor adjustments required to make your. property' con-
form in every way to the new, grade- of the'- sidewalk in Osterman
Avenue and Grand Avenue will be made without additional ex- .
pence, to you.
This letter will be-submitted to the Board of Local.
Improvements at Deerfield at their next meeting for approval..
and insertion in the official minutea of that body. '
