Association be permitted to sponsor a Ku Klux Klan parade._
in the streets of Deerfield, provided thev parade within the law,
and are not hooded nor their identity obscured in any wav, and
be it further provided that then state the day and time that then
propose to parade. Carried.
The original motion to the effect that permission be not
granted to the Lake Countv Civic Association to hold a parade in
the streets of Deerfield was then put and defeated.

The regular meeting of the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President
Lincoln Pettis at 8 P. Td.

The minutes of the regular meeting held August 4th, 1924
were read and approved.

JORDAN AND THE VILLAGE OF DEERFTELD.
Moved by Trustee Hood and seconded by Trustee Engstrom that
the Board of Trustees of the Village of =Deerfield submit a con-
tract to Erwin B. Jordan and Lura E. Parsons Jordan whereby the*
agree to give them Fifteen Hundred Dollars(v1500.00) in money
and relinquish all indirect assessments for sewer against proper-
ty of grantors for oelmer initiated to date.

the 'President and Village Clerk be Authorized and directed to
enter into contract with Erwin B. Jordan and Lura E. Parsons
Jordan for the purchase of land for Sewarage Disposal Plant and
Outlet Sewer required under ordinance passed Aril 7th, 1924 at
,the purchase price of Fifteen Hundred Dollars (w1500.00), One
Hundred Dollars (6100.00) to be paid at the signing of agreement
and the balance on or before April lot, 1925, the Village of
Deerfield to assume all assessments for sevier initiated to date. -

pparagraph'(b), Fred Campbell and Ed Osterman property, paragraph
• (f) and (g), Schwan and Hole property, paragraph (k). '
