The regular meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the clerk at S P. M.
The President being absent it was moved by Trustee Toll and
seconded by Trustee Hood that Trustee Ender act as chairman..Carried.
Roll call- Present= Ender`, Engstrom, Hood,. Labahn, Osterman,
Toll. Absent- None.
' The minutes of the regular meeting held May 5th,' 1924, the spec-
ial meeting held May 15th, 1924 and the regular meeting held June
2nd, 1924 were read and approved.
AUDITORS REPORT. '
Moved by Trustee Toll and seconded by Trustee Hood to accept the
a auditors report as read, also that'the Printing and Auditing Commit-
tee have the Village books audited further as of June 30th, 1924
and that suggestions be' made as to a.proper system of recording the
Village tansactions. '
Upon roll call the following vote was. taken: - Yeas= Under,
Engstrom, Hood, Labahn,* Osterman, Toll. Naes- None. Carried.
HENRY PETERSENS SALARY VIHILE DISABLED. .
Moved by Trustee Labahn and seconded by Trustee Toll that the
Village of Deerfield pay Henry Petersen for services rendered at
the rate of 025.00 per week until farther notice.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken:- Yeas - Ender,
Engstrom,- Hood, Labahn; Osterman, Toll.*Naes- None. Carried.

Moved by Trustee Hood and seconded by Trustee Labahn to accent

Moved by Trustee Hood and seconded by Trustee Engstrom that
permission be given to Henry Scheskie and William Osterman to lay
a 6" Vlatermain in Osterman Ave. for a distance of 150 feet west
_ of the present - terminus of main in said "street,subject to the in-
spection of Plater Committee.

permission to Vlm. Barrett to erect a shop to meet his temporary
requirements.

GEORGE KARCH REQUESTS PERMISSION TO LAY WATERMAIN.
Moved by Trustee Hood and seconded by Trustee Engstrom to
give.George,Karch permission to'lap a watermain in the proposed
street in Karch's proposed subdivision.

Moved by Trustee Toll and seconded by Trustee Osterman to L
accept petition signed by residents and property owners'on Oak
Avenue requesting that

have this taken care of as soon'as possible.
