05/15/1924 + 06/02/1924M7 15th, 1924. A special meeting of the President and Board of.Trusteea.of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President Lincoln Pettis at 8 P. M. Roll call - Present- Ender, Engstrom, Hood, Labahn #'Osterman, Toll: Absent- None. Moved by Trustee �g ad seconded by Trustee Hood that the Marray and Terry Tract a the Board for consideration under the name of Plat Exhibit rrl, 6i the Goldman Subdivision be approved by the Village Board when the plat is =submitted -with the following agree- ment attached and under no other consideration to be considered. Trust Agreement so as to make a 60 foot road in the N. W. corner to connect with Deerfield Ave., using the alley west of the Barrett property. The building line restrictions to 30 ft., one home only to each individual lot, the minimum cost of the house to be Eight thousand Dollars on all lots except those facing the Golf Course Frontage, which lots are restricted to have houses at a minimum coot of Ten Thousand Dollars. • Further, the owners of this Tract agree that within the limit of twenty four months from this date, they will install stone road- ways at least four inches thick with two inches top dressing of fine atone, said roadways to be not less than Nine feet wide, or petition within that time for a permanent road to be constructed by spreading a Special Assessment, providing that the sewer and water service are installed at that time or will be to correspond w with this permanent paving. Further-agreed that but one house can or shall -be erected on plots which are reserved for future-subdivision. Moved by Trustee Toll and seconded by Trustee Labahn that the Village Clerk notify the Federal Electric Co. that they can get .the necessary permit when then file a bond to erect the Sievers sign as per specifications and design which has been submitted. Upon roll call the following vote was taken: - Yeas- Ender. Engstrom, Labahn, Osterman, Toll. Naes - Hood. Carried. Moved by Trustee Toll and seconded by Trustee Labahn, that the Federal Electric Co. be advised by the Village Clerk that they , can get the necessary permit when they file the required bond to erect the electric sign for Mr. Lenciofti on the Stryker Bldg. as per design submitted. Ry.” Co. and the National Brick Co. Carried. OPENING OF CENTRAL AVE]1UR RAILROAD CROSSING. ' Moved by Trustee Hood and seconded by Trustee Engstrom that the petition requesting the reopening of R. R. Crossing at Central Avenue be referred to the Judiciary Committee. Unanimously carried, CRVD 215 Moved-bv Trustee Hood and--seconded by Trustee.Osterman that the communication from Martin Co Decker regarding.sidewalks on Woodward Ave. and other streets in question be referred to the, Board of Local Improvements. Carried., NORTH SHORE, GOLF LINKS-SUBDIVISION. Moved by Trustee Hood and seconded by Trustee Labahn that the Plat Exhibit rl of the Goldman Subdivision be referred back to the Deerfield Plan Commission. with .the recommendation that they accept the plat with certain modifications -and -if - approved by them the President and Village Clerk are authorized to accept the same. PAVING EUGETTE AVF.NUF.. - Moved by Trustee Hood and seconded by Trustee Osterman that the plat forbthe paving.of Eugene Ave. be accepted and the contractor to go ahead and also see that Sewer Tile is laid under concrete where Eugene Ave. and Waukegan Road intersect. Upon roll call the following vote was taken:- Yeas - Ender, Engstrom, Hood, Labahn; Osterman�-Toll. Naes- None. �` ZONING ORDINANCE AMR.NDARNT: S An Ordinance amending the Zoning Map of Deerfield, Ill.,was read. Moved by Trustee Ender and seconded- by-Trustee Hood that all contrary rules be suspended and the ordinance placed on its passage. Carried. r An invitation to send a delegate to Hammond, Ind. for the purpose of organizing the Lake Michigan Sanitation Congress was read. � Moved by TpusTee Hood and secondedrby Trustee Toll that the k President appoint a delegate to go to Hammond, Ind. June 27 -28, 1924 to attend this convention. Carried. The President appointed Trustee Hood as delegate and Trustee Ender as alternate. Moved by Trustee Hood and seconded by Trustee Labahn that the President appoint a Committee of three'and himself a fourth to confer with a Committee from Highland Park with a view,to exchanging certain portions of the Village of--Deerfield for an equal amount of territory in Highland Park. Carried. ---- The President appointed Trustee Hood, Ender and Engstrom with himself to act on this Committee.
