A.special meeting of the.President and..Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President Lincoln Pettis at 7 :30 P. M. Roll call Present- Ender,- Osterman, Selig, Toll. Absent - Warner. ACCEPTANCE OF A PERMIT FROM TFTT •DEPARTT Ti:NT OF PUBLIC WORKS. An' ordinance authorizing the President and Village Clerk,to_ file an acceptance of a permit.issued by the Department of Public vlorks and Buildings, Division Of Waterways, dated February 14th, 1924, and numbered 6701 was read. Moved by Trustee Ender and seconded by Trustee Osterman that all contrary rules be suspended and the ordinance placed on its passage. ` Upon roll call the following vote was taken;- Yeas- Ender, Osterman, Selig, Toll. Naes- None. t Moved by Trustee Ender and seconded by Trustee Toll-that the ordinance be passed as.read. Upon roll call the following vote was taken;- Yeas- Ender, Osterman, Selig, Toll. An ordinance for a local improvement in the Village of Deer - field, Lake County, I11 -, providing for the const=ction of a combined storm water and sanitary sewer in Central Ave., and in Second Street, together with manholes, catchbasins,catchbasin connections, house and catchbasin slants and Y branches and all appurtenances thereto, was read. Moved by Trustee Warner and seconded by Trustee Toll that all contrary rules be suspended and the ordinance placed on its passage. Upon roll call the following vote was taken : - Yeas- Ender, Osterman, Selig, Toll, Warner. Naes- None. Moved by Trustee Toll and seconded by Trustee Selig that the ordinance be passed as read. Upon roll call the following vote was taken:- Yeas- Ender, `Osterman, Selig, Toll, Warner. Naes- None. A communication from the North Shore Gas Co. requesting permission to run a four inch gas main in Deerfield Road from the Dorcas Home to the easterly limits of Deerfield was read. Moved by Trustee Toll and seconded by Trustee Selig that permission be granted to the North Shore Gas Co. to lay a gas main three feet south of the pavement on the condition that shoulder fill shall be thouroughly tamped so that all material excavated shall be returned to the trench and the surface of the shoulder left in practically the same condition as it was before the commencement of the work. Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas - Ender, Osterman, Selig, Toll, Varner. Naes- None.' WIT. F. PLAGGE PLAT. '7m. F. Plagge then presented a plat for a new subdivision.
