A special.meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield was ,called to order by the President
Lincoln Pettis at 7 :30 P. M.
Roll call:.;. Present- Ender, Osterman, Selig,-Toll.
Absent - 71arner.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FULL SETTLEMENT TO KAP CHULL= DAVIS.
A resolution to issue bonds in the sum of,�1000.00 and warrants
in the sum of 043.16 to KapschulllDavis Co., in full settlement of
all claims for work done on account of Special Assessment #15, said
bonds and warrants'to be drawn against and payable out of Special
Assessment #15 fund was read..
Moved by Trustee -Toll and seconded by Trustee Selig to adopt
this resolution as read.
Upon roll .call the following .vote was taken : - Yeas- Ender,
Osterman, Selig, Toll..Naes- None.
A resolution from-the Men's Club of Deerfield referring to
the proposed erection of -:a roadhouse, restaurant, gasoline filling
station or anything except' a residence on the Northwest corner of
Waukegan Road..and Greerr000d Ave. - 'las read.
Moved by Trustee Osterman and seconded by Trustee Toll that
this communication be laid on the table for the time being. Carried.
REMOVAL OF GARBAGE..
A communication from the Deerfield Den's Club recommending the
passing of an ordinance requiring the removal of garbage from with -.
in the Village of Deerfield was read.
Moved by Trustee Tolland seconded by Trustee.Ender that the
attorney be instructed-to draw up such an ordinance. Carried.
Moved by Trustee Osterman and seconded by Trustee Toll to
adjourn. Carried. .

The regular meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President
Lincoln Pettis at 7 :30 P. M.
Roll call : - Present- Ender, Osterman, Selig, Toll.
Absent = Warner.
The minutes of the regular meeting held Feb. 4th, and of the
adjourned meeting held Feb. 11th, 1924 were read and approved.
LIGHTS FOR ROSEMARY TERRACE -AND ORCHARD STREET.
.Moved by Trustee Toll and seconded by Trustee Osterman to
accept report.of the Road and Bridge Committee and to order.the
public Service: Co. to place 3 lights on Rosemary Terrace and 1 on
Orchard St.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas Ender,
Osterman, Selig, Toll. Naes - None.
A communication from Mr. Carr tendering his resignation as a
member of the Deerfield Plan Commission was read.
Moved by Trustee Ender and seconded by Trustee Toll to accept
the resignation of bir. W. B. Carr as member of- the Deerfield Plan
Commission. Carried.
RESOLUTION _CALLING FOR AN ELECTION APRIL 15th, 1924.
A "resolution calling for anGeneral Election to be held on the
15th day of April, A. D.'1924 was read.
Moved by Trustee Ender and seconded by Trustee Selig to adopt the
resolutionx:as read.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas- Ender,
Osterman, Selig, Toll. Naes - ,None.
A communication from Pearse, Greeley & Hansen regarding their
account against the Village of Deerfield was read.
Moved by Trustee Toll and seconded by Trustee Selig that the
communication be referred to the Finance Committee to see if they
can find a wav to pay this bill or a part thereof.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken : - Yeas Ender,
Osterman, Selig, Toll. Naes- None.
A communication from the International Harvester Co. with
reference to the X1000.00 Village.4larrant was read.
Moved by Trustee Ender and seconded by-Trustee Osterman to,
lay, this communication over to the next meeting. Carried.
A communication from Peter Pirsch & Sons Co.,Wiith referenca
to notes which they hold against the Village Of Deerfield was read.
