The date of the regular meeting falling on a legal holiday,
by the consent of all members of Board of Trustees the meeting
was adjourned to Sept. 5th,1923. ` `
The meeting was called to order by the President Lincoln
Pettis at 8 P. M. I '
Roll call; Present- Ender, Osterman, Selig, Toll, Warner.
Absent- None.
Minutes of the regular meeting of August 6th; 1923 were
read and approved.
Moved by Trustee Ender and seconded by Trustee Toll that
Trustee Warner and Attorney Wolfe be authorized to make a
settlement with Gray, Hunter & Co. if possible.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken; -Yeas Ender,
„ Osterman, Selig, Toll, Warner. Naes- None.

Vie Yollowing resolution was read;- Resolved that an.ordinanee
be prepared, providing-for a bond issue for the purpose of.paying
the balance due.on the fire engine and to take up and,cancel out-
standing water vouchers and for other corporate'purposes, not to
exceed six thousand eight hundred dollars. Said bonds to mature
within five gears . from date of issue. `
` Moved`by Trustee Warner and seconded by Trustee Toll that the
resolution be passed as read.,
Upon roll call the'following vote was taken; Yeas - Ender, Oster -
man, Selig, Toll, Warner. Naes- None.
Moved by Trustee Ender and seconded by Trustee Warner author-
izing the clerk to write Peter Pirch & Co- and the International
Harvester Co. enclosing copy of the above resolution - Carried.
CDEERFIELD PARK DISTRICT RESOLUTION.
Resolved that an or inane be prepared for the-creation of a
Park District coextensive with the present limits of the Village
of Deerfield.
Moved by Trustee Warner and seconded by Trustee Toll that the
resolution be adopted as read.
Uon roll call the following vote was taken; Yeas- Ender, Oster-
man, S lig, Toll, Warner. Naes- None.
Moved by Trustee Warner and seconded by Trustee Toll that the
President and the Clerk be authorized to sign or 0. S. that part
of Unit #1 of Deerfield. Heights submitted to the Board in the form
of a blue print when identical tracers in proper form are prepared
and presented.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken; Yeas- Ender, Oster-
man, Selig, Toll, Warner. Naes- None.
DOMESTIC FOWL RESOLUTION.
Resolved thattan ordinance be prepared requiring that all kinds
of domestic fowls at all times be confined to the property of the
owners under penalties similar to those provided in the previous
ordinance relating to the confinement of domestic fowls.
Moved by Trustee Warner and seconded by Trustee Ender that this
resolution be adopted as read.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken; Yeas- Ender, Oster-
man, Selig, Toll, Warner. Naes - None.
