July 23rd, -1923.
A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of thp Village of
Deerfield which was consented to by all members of the Board,* was
called to order by the President Lincoln Pettis at 8 P.M,.
Roll-call; Present- Warner'Soli',,Toll'Osterman, and Enders A--
Absent- None*
Moved by Trustee and seconded by Trustee Warner, that
the C,M; & St,Pe RY* Co.- be- notified to put in side-walks on north
side of Outerman Avenue'* and on both sides of Hazel Avenue, on the
railroad 3 right of way*
t Upon roll -call the following vote was taken; Yeas - Warner,
Selig.Toll.Onterman, and Bnder,-Naes -Hone.
The following resolution was read;'- Resolved that the Village
Attorney be instructed to prepare an Ordinance providing for the
furnishing of grades for all sidewalks hereafter constructed with-
in the villagd limits'- and for 'a permit 'fee to cover cost of
furnishing grades and inspection*
Moved by Trustee Warner and seconded by Trastee Ender that
the Resolution be pasoed'an read.
Upon roll-call the following vote was taken; Yeae- Warner,
Selig.Toll.Onterman.and Enders Naes- None*
`Moved by Tkubtee Ender and seconded by Trustee-Osterman,
that James Anderson of Lake•Poreot be employed aq engineer for.the
detbrmination of sidewalk and street grades*
Upon.roll-call the following vote was taken; Yeas- Warner,
Selig.Toll-,Ostermanand Enders Naes- Hones
The follo2ing Resolution was then read; Resolved that the.
Clerk be and hereby in,)instructed to issue no permits for taps
for the use of village water outside of the village limitstl or
permit extension of the use of water from the taps now existing,
to convey water outside the village limits;, except as covered by
ordinance or contracts
Moved by Trustee Warner and seconded by Trustee Toll that
the Resolution be passed as read*
Upon roll-call the following vote was taken; Yeas- Warner.
Selig; Toll.Onterman,,and Enders Naes- None.
The following resolution was read; Resolved that the Board'
of 2 rustees do hereby accept the recommendation of the Deerfield
Planning and Zoning Commission covering Deerfield Heights which
shall include the acceptance of the plat for the subdivision
included in the report.
Moved by Trustee Warner and seconded by Trustee Ender" that
the resolution be passed as read*
Upon roll-call the following vote was taken; Taus-47arner,
Selig.Toll.Oaterman.and Enders Iffaes- None*
Moved by Trustee Ender and seconded by Trustee Toll to ad-
journ. Carried,
