Regular meeting of the Board of Trustee• Village° of Deerfield
was called toyorder by the President B.H.Kress at 7 V.M'.
Roll call, Present, O'Connor, Pettis, Segert; Selig, Warner.
Absent,-Stanger.,
Minutes of the regular meeting held�"o3`�J%rch 5 1923 were
read and .approved. '
The Road and Bridge Committee recommended;',the changing of
Section 3 of the Vehicle License ordinance.in- regard to trucks.
The rate to be $6:00 for one ton or under $10.00 for more
than one ton and not over two'ton ?15.00 for over two ton.
Moved by Trustee Wx ner and se3oned by Trustee Segert that
the rep 'ort be approved ratified and incorporated into,the ordinance

Mr. J.W.Stmons• of the North Shore Electric-'. explained in detail
a motor bus line their C.ompany expected to.run.through Deerfield
Application of° the' Chicago TZt�rth Shore and Milwaukee Rail
Road for permissioh to run a'motor' bus line East on Deerfield Ave
and on North and South Lincoln'Ave' together with -a resolution
granting the same was read.
Moved by Trustee O' Connor 'andJseconed by Trustee Segert that
the resolution be adopted as read.
Upon roll call' the following vote was. taken, Yeas ?'Connor,
Pettis, Segert, Selig, Warner. Noes None.
Moved by Trustee'Warner ihd seconed byi.Trustee Pettis that
the Attorney be instructed to draft an" ordinance to effect the
closing of those places of business which become' a neuisance in
the Village to present at the next meetfng..
Moved by Trustee'Pettis z--.nd seconed by Trustee O'Connor
that the Board 'take' a recess to hold a. meeting of the Board of
Local Improvements.' Carried. `
