Regular meeting of the Board of Trustee Village of Deeffield
was caller to -order by the President B.H.Kress at 7 P.M.
Roll call`, Present,, O'Conn.or, Pettis, Segert, Selig,Vlarner
Absent, Stanger.
_Minutes of the regular meeting held on,January 8 1923 and
of the special meeting held on January 29 1923 were read and approved.
Letter from the subdividers of Sunset Terrace Subdivision
at Highland Park relative to the moving of our meter pit and use of
our mains was read-and referred to the water committee.
Moved by' Trustee Vlarner and seconed by Trustee Selig that the
water committee be instructed to look into the present and future
water supply of the Village and employ such expert service as they
deem advisable and make recommendations to the Board.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken, YeasO'Connor,
Pettis, Segert, Selig, Warner. Naes, None.
Resolution and certificate of approval of water pipe extension
'it} Rosemary Terrace eras read.
Move( by Trustee Warner and seconed by Trustee Selig that
resolution be adopted as Lead. Carried.
A petition signed by seventeen (17) property owners requesting
_a street light at Osterman Ave and Second St. and that Seconed St.
be opened to traffic was read.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconed by Trus.tee O'Connor that
street light be installed on Seconed Ave. and Osterman Ave.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken, Yews, O'Connor,
Pettis, Segert, Selig, Warner.- Naes, None.
Moved by,Trustee- Pettis and seconed by:,Trustee Warner that
`the Road and Bridge Committee.be authorized to take care of the
opening and grading of Second Ave between Deerfield Ave. and Osterman
ave, gas,soon as the weather permits.
Upon roll call the following vote.was taken, Yeas, O'Connor,
Pettis, Segert, Selig and Warner, Naes None,
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconed by Trustee 08connoe_ that
• tip, Zoning Ordinance be referred to the Board as a committee of the /�
whole and report at next meeting. Carried.
