AN ORDINANCE. TO AIEND SECTION
294, CHAPTER 15, VEHICLE LICENSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the Municipal Code of Deerfield
of 1946 passed and approved under date of January 2, 1946s
be, and the same is hereby amended in the following respect:
(a) That Section 294 of Chapter 15,
VEHICLE LICENSES, be so amended by striking out all of said
Section 294 and concurrently inserting in lieu thereof and
in substitution therefor, a new Section 294 to be and read as
follows:
11294 Time of payment- license year.) Such
license fee or tax shall be for each calendar
year, that is to say, from January 1 to
December 31 of each calendar year, and shall
be due and payable annually on or before the
first day of February in each year, provided
that if the license is issued for a period
of less than a year, the fee to be paid shall
be a proportionate part of the annual license
fee."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict with this ordinance be,and the same
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law...
