An adjourned meeting from the regular meeting of September
4 1922, was called to order by the President B.H.Kress at8 :30 P.M

Minutes`of•the` regular meeting held on August 7 1922 were read
and approved. '
Water Committee was instructed to see about putting water on
Chestnut Street and report *.at the next regular meeting.
Moved by Trustee Stanger and seconed by-Trustee Segert that
the resolution regarding tapping of water main by Taylor and
Stryker in Rosemary Terrace be adopted as read. Carried.
Moved.by Trustee Segert and seconed by Trustee Stanger that
a check of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) be sent to Peter Pirsch
and Sons as.payment`on Fire Truck.
A resolution autliorizing' the President and Village Clerk'to
execute Village ;arrants in the suml of Three 'Thousand Dollars
1$3000.00), two for one Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) each, and two
2) for Five Hundred Dollars($500.00).each and to deliver the
same to Peter Pirsch & Sons in full payment for the Fire Engine and
apparatus recently purchased from the said Peter Pirsch & Sons Co.
was read.
Moved by Trustee Segert and seconed by Trustee Selig that the
,resolution be adopted as read.
Upon roll call the followingmvote was taken, Yeas,.OtConnor,

An ordinance creating the- office of Building Commissioner
nd providing for compensation was read.
Moved by Trustee OlConnor and seconed by Trustee Segert that
all contrary rules be suspended and the ordinance by placed on its
passage.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken, Yeas, O'Connor,,
Segert, Selig, Stanger, Pettis. Naes, None.
Moved by Trustee OtConnor and seconed by Trustee Selig that tIV
ordinance be passed as read.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken Yeas, O'Connor,
Segert, Selig, Stanger, Pettis. Naes, None.
The President appointed Edward Segert as Building Commissioner
Moved by Trustee O'Connor and seconed by Trustee Selig that
appointment be con #curred in.
s Upon roll call the following vote was taken, Yeas, OtConnor,

An ordinance relating to streets and providing a penalty for
violation-thereof was read.
Moved by Trustee Segert and seconed by.Trustee Selig that all
contrary rules be suspended and the ordinance be placed on its
passage.
Upon rmll call the following vote was taken, Yeas, OlConnor,
Sel3ert, Selig, Stanger. Not Voting, Pettis.
Moved by Trustee Segert and seconed by Trustee Selig that the
ordinance be passed as read.
Upon roll cell the following vote was taken, Yeas OtConnor,
Segert, Selig, Stanger. Notvoting Pettis.
Contract between the Village and the Kapschull Davis Co was
read.
Moved by Trustee Segert and seconed by Trustee O'Connor that
the contract be accepted as read and ordered signed by the President
and Clerk, and bond be accepted, if approved by Attorney and check
be refunddd.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken, Yeas, O'Connor,
Segert, Selig, Stanger, Pettis.. Naes, None.
Complaint was made regarding the Oil Station and Stand being
open all night.
Moved by Trustee O'Connor and seconed by Trustee Stanger that
Mr. Knaak be notified to close oil station and stand at 11 P.M.
This io- to take effect immediately.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken, Yeas, O'Connor,
Segert, Selig, Stanger, Pettis, Naes, None.
