Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield,
was called to order by. the President.B.H. Kress at 8 P.M.
Roll Call, Present: Beckley Haggie, Kreh, Segert and Wessling.
Absent Haunschild.

Upon roll call the following vote was taken, Yeah: Beckley, Haggie,
Kreh, Segert and Wessling. Naes, None. ,
W.-H. Steffis, Ezra Fritsch,and Elda Horenberger were appointed _as Judges
and-Theo. J. Knaak and Loretta Willman as clerkd _for the village Election
to beheld on April 19, 1921.
Moved and. seconed to adjourn. Carried.

Letter from Gov. Len.. Small asking
that the .Village observe a Health
Promotion Week and submitting a program
for the name was read. The
President appointed a• committee to
arrange for earring out of the
program. An ordinance to establish
official time in the, Village of
Deerfield.and accomplish daylight
saving thereby after 1920 was read.
Moved by Trustee Haggie and seconed
by Trustee Segert that the ordinance .
be adopted as read.
Upon roll call the following vote
was taken, Yeas: Beckley, Haggie, -
Kreh, Segert and tessling. Naes,
None.
Moved by Trustee Segert and seconed
by Trustee Beckleytthat Gehrke and
Dietz be given permission to place
a gasoline-pump 18 inches from the
sidewalk. Carried unanimously.
Moved by Trustee Kreh. and seconed
by Trustee Segert that. the clerk notify
the Chicago Telephone- Co. to move
two poles in the center of Chestnut St.
to the, side of the street as soon
as possible. Carried unanimously. ,
