Regular meeting of'the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order by the President B. H. Kress at 8 P.M.
Roll Call: Present :. Beckley, .Haggie, Kreh, . Segert -and 'Tessling
Absent: Haunschild.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on September 13 1920 were read and
approved.
Moved by Trustee Segert and seconed by Trustee Kreh• that the Attorney Mr.
'Wolff be authorized to draw up a building ordinance. Carried.
Moved by Trustee Beckley and seconed by. Trustee Segert that the Chairman
of the Road t� Bridge Committee be.authorized to secure Electric Light '
and sign for the corner and spedd,signs for the limits.
Upon roll call the followinv was as taken. Yeas Beckley, Haggie, Kreh,
Segert and Iessling. Naes- None.
Moved by Trustee Kreh and seconed by Trustee Xessl•ing that the Village
purchase carload crushed stone to fill in around the corners.
Upon Roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas Beckley Haggie, Kreh,
Segert and Wessling. Nabs- None.
Moved by Trustee Beckley and Seconed by Trustee Segert that the, streets
be scraped.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas-- 'Beckley,:Haggie; Kreh,.
Segert and aiessling. .Naes- None.
Moved by Trustee Kreh.and seconed by Trustee Segert; that the Clerk notify
Ur. Taylor to put in new meter pit within fifteen (15) days from notice.
Carried.
Moved by Segert and soconed by Trustee Kreh a bill of fifty (50.00) dollar
be sent to Mr. Joseph ,Root for tap and watercconstmed at Highland Park
Bridge. Carried.
Moved by Trustee Haggie_ and seconed by.Trustee Beckley that the meters
hereafter be read on November first, April First and August First. Carried,
Moved by Trustee Ha :° i e and Seconed'by Trustee Beckley that the meter readers
• salary be cut from �100. 00 to X75.00 per year. Carried.

to be placed on file.
