AN ORDINANCE TO AIuIEND SECTION 211,
ARTICLE I, CHAPTER 12 - FOOD DEALERS
of the Municipal Code of Deerfield
of 1946
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the Municipal Code of Deerfield of
1946 passed and approved under date of January 2/)1946, be
and the same is hereby amended in the following respects:
(A) That Section 211 - Application for License,
of Article I, General Provisions of Chapter 12 - FOOD DEALERS -
of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1946 be amended by add-
ing a new and additional paragraph to said Section 211, which
said new and additional paragraph shall read as follows:
"The annual fee for such licenses for
food dealers shall be Ten Dollars
($10.00) for each such food dealer."
(B) That said Section 211 as amended shall b e and
read as follows:
11211 Application for license.) All applica-
tions for any license required to conduct a
business connected with the storage, handling,
sale or preparation of food or drink intended
for human consumption shall be referred by the
Clerk to the Health Officer for investigation
before a license shall be issued. The Health
Officer shall inspect, or cause to be inspected,
the premises used or intended to be used, and
shall report thereon, recommending or advising
against the issuance of the license.
The annual fee for such licenses for food
dealers shallbe Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each
such food dealer. 11
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect as of January 1, 1948 and from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
