Minutes of the regular meeting held on November 4, I9I8 were read
and approved.

Moved by Trustee Hempstead and seconded by TrusteeDuffy that the
bills be paid and charged to their respective funds.
Upon roll callthe• following vote was taken:- Yeas, Duffy, Hempstead,
Kreh and Reichelt. - Naes, Nona.
Moved by Trustee Kreh ;.and, seconded by Trustee Duffy that an
anticipation warrant (tax) be drawn payable to,A.F.Beaubean and John D.
Pope for the sum of $.794.82 in payment of the judgement against the
Village-of Deerfield, obtained by them in the Circuit Court of Lake County
on the•I3th. day of December A.D. I9I,, together with interest thereon
and coats. Said warrant to bear, interest at..the- rate of Five percent per
annum as provided by law and to be- payable solely out of the tax levy of
the year I9I8

A resolution in which the Village-of Deerfield joined with other
municipalities interested in contea.ting the increase of rates asked for
by the Chicago Telephone Co at a hearing before the-Public Utilities
Commission and alsothat an anticipation warrant be, issued for' $7.00 do
the Village of Deerfield share-of the cost, the- same to be made payable -
to the, State. Bank of Chicago as Escrow Agent . was` read.
Upon roll call the- following vote was taken : - Yeas, Duffy, Hempstead,
Kreh and Reichelt. Naes, - None,.
Moved by Trustee Hempstead and seconded by Trustee Duffy that a
warrant bLe issued on the- general fund to replace warrant number I66I on.
account of-Vant Special Sidewalk. Tax, the same amounting to $27.50 and
payable to E.A.Rossiter.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken : - Yeas, Duffy, Hempstead,
Kreh and Reichelt. Naea,, None.
Moved by Trustee Hempstead and seconded by Trustee Duffy that we
employ Mr. E. A. Rossiter to make final confirmation and to prepare
papers for Special Assessments: Number I and 2.
Upon roll call the following vote-was taken:- Yeas, Duffy, Hempstead,
