Special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
called by the President, V1: A. Vjhiting, for the purpose of advertising for bids
and such other business as may come - before this Board when convened.'
Roll call: Present -f empetead, Horenberger, Juhrend, Pettis, Reichelt.
Able ent- •Remy.
The President appointed E. H. Willman as Treasurer.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Horenberger that the
appointment of Mr. Willman as Treasurer be ratified.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas -- Hempstead,
Horenberger, Junrend, Pettis, Reichelt. 'Nays—None.;
The President appointed W. E. .addis as Village Attorney.
Droved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Juhrend that the
appointment of Mr. * ddis as Village Attorney be ratified.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken:. Yeas--Hempstead,
Horenberger, Juhrend, Pettis, Reichelt. Nays - -None. '
Moved by Trustee Pettis end seconded by Trustee Horenberger that the
Attorney be instructed to draft an ordinance forbidding 'any gasoline pumps or
tanks being placed on the streets outside of the lot line.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas -- Hempstead,
Horenberger, Juhrend, Pettis, Reichelt. Nays - -None.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Reichelt that the
bill of Deerfield Lumber Co., amounting to $228.19, be paid.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas -- Hempstead,
Horenberger, Juhrend, Pettia, Reichelt. Nays -- Pone.
The President appointed Trustees Hempstead, Reichelt and Juhrend
to solicit and collect for street oiling.
Moved by Trustee Reichelt and seconded by Trustee Hempstead to
