FEBRUARY 11915
Regular meeting of the Board of Trustee's of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order by the President, W.A. Whiting, at 8:00 p.m.
Roll call: Present - Horenberger, Juhrend, Kress, Pettis.
Absent -- Fritsch, Rosy.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Horenberger that
we dispense with the reading of the minutes until next meeting.
Carried.
The following bills were read:

Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Horenberger that the
bills be paid.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas -- Horenberger,
Juhrend, Kress, Pettis. Nays- -None.
An ordinance for the construction of watermains on Osterman Ave.
from7lrand Ave. to the west village limits and on Chestnut St. from
Osterman Ave. to the north line of the Osterman subdivision eras read and
referred to a committee consisting of Trustees Kress, Pattie and Juhrend
to report at the next meeting.
. The committee having charge of the bill of J. Anderson for
surveying and making of village plats recommended that the bill for surveying
be paid, but that the bill for making of village plats be not paid. The
Clerk was instructed to write Mr. Anderson asking him to submit a separate
bill for survey work and for tracing and making plats.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Kress that the
Fire Marshal procure a wrench and shut -off for the brickyard meter.
Upon roll call the following.vote was taken: Yeas -- Horenberger
Juhrend, Kress, Pettis. Nays- -None.
The Clerk was instructed to write the Chicago Telephone Company to
place a telephone in the new fire station.
Moved by Trustee Kress and seconded by Trustee Juhrend that the
Clerk be authorized to buy a contractors pump 3" X 6" for pumping the water
from the meter pits.
Carried.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by rustee Horenberger that the
Fire Marshal ascertain the cost of a fire
Carried.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Kress to adjourn
to next Monday.evening for the purpose of taking up the water ordinance in the
Osterman subdivision.
