Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order by the President, W. A. Whiting, at 8 :00 p.m.
Roll call: Present - Fritsch, Juhrend, Kress,, Pettis, Reay.
Absent-- Horenberger.
Minutes of the regular meetings hold on November 2, 1914 and December
7, 1914s and of tho adjourned meeting held on December 21, 1914, were read and
approved.
The following bills were read:
Central Foundry Company, Service Boxes $ 20.53
T. J. Knaak, Freight bills 3.69
F. Newhauser, Work on subways (voucher made
payable to C. W.' Pettis) 7.50
Highland Park Press, Notice to contractors
Woodward and Hazel, (first time) 5100
Lincoln Pettis , Tapping charges 115.10
Goo. Hermann, Jr., salary Marshall Dec. 1914 60.00
0. Nelson, Cement Crossing, Hazel Ave. 30.76
Deerfield Hardware Co., Misc. supplies 1.77
Moved by.Trustee Fritsch and seconded by Trustee Juhrend that vouchers
be•drawn and charged to the several funds.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas -- Fritsch, Juhrend,
Kress, Pettis, Reay. Nay s- -None.
The Clerk was instructed to post typewritten notices asking the
people to clear.the.snow from their walks.
The following bill was read:
Public Service Co., Street Lights, Dec.,1914 $ 71.66
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Fritsch that the bills
be paid.
Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas -- Fritsch, Juhrend,
Kress, Pattie, Reay.. Nays - -None.
The following bills for ratification were read:
Public Service Co., Street lights, November, 1914 $71.66
Lincoln Pettis, Tapping Charges 335.50
Goo. Hermann, Jr., Salary, Marshall-Nov. 1914
and miscellaneous 74.50
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Fritsch that the
payment of the three bills be ratified.
Upon roll.call the following Iota was taken: Yeas -- Fritsch, Juhrend,
Kress, Pettis, Reay. Nays- -Nona.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Reay that the chair
appoint a committee of threehio be one of the three, to investigate the Village
map and report at the next meeting.
Carried.
The President appointed Trustees Pettis and Kress.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Fritsch that the gas
ordinance be referred to the same committee to report at the next meeting.
Motion made to adjourn.
Carried.
