Whiting, at 8 :00 p.m. Roll call: Present - Fritsch, Horenberger, Juhrond, Pettis, Reny. Absent -- Kress. Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Reny that we dis- pense with the reading of the minutes until after disposition of the ordinances. Carri ed. An ordinance for the width of streets and the approval of plats of tracts of land to be recorded within the corporate limits of the Village of Dserfad was read. Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Fritsch that the ordinance be passed as read. Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas - •Trustees• Fritch, Horenberger, Juhrend, Pettis, Reay.:•Nays• -None. An ordinance for a local improvement in the Village of Deerfield providing for the grading of Hazel Avenue from Lincoln Ave. to'Woo.dward Ave., and Woodward Ave. from Hazel Ave. to Deerfield Ave., together with the recom- -mendation of the Board of Local Improvements and estimated cost of same was read. t Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded-by Trustee Fritsch that the ordinance be passed as read. Upon roll call the following vote was taken :,Yoas -- Trustees Fritsch, Horenberger, Juhrend, Pettis; Reaye Nays- -None. An ordinance for a local improvement in the Village-of Deerfield providing for the construction and laying of grater mains in Second Street from Deerfield Ave. to Hazel Ave.; in Hazel Ave. from4randAve. to Woodward Ave.; in Woodward Ave. from Hazel Ave. -to Deerfield Ave.;*in Deerfield•Ave. from Woodward Ave. to a point,660 feet east of the west village limits, together with the recommendation of the-Board of Local Improvements and estimated cost of some was read. Moved by Trustee Beny-and seconded by Trustee Pettis that the ordinance be passed as read, Upon roll call the following vote was-taken: Yeas -- Fritsch, Horenberger, Juhrend, Pettis, Reay. Nays- -None. An ordinance for a-local improvement in the Village of Deerfield for a system of Portland-Cement concrete sidewalks on the north side of Hazel Ave. from Oak Ave. to Grand Ave.; on the south side of Hazel Ave. from Woodward Ave. to Grand Ave.; on both sides of Woodward Ave. from Hazel Ave. to Deerfield Ave.; on the north side of Dearfield,Ave. from Woodward Ave. to a point 250 feet east to the east line thereof, together with the recommendation of the Board of Local Improvements and estimated cost of same, was road. Moved by Trustee Roay and seconded by Trustee Fritsch that the ordinance be passed as read. Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas..- Trustees Fritch, Horenbergor, Juhrond, Pettis, Reay. Nays -- :done. Moved by Trustee Pattis and seconded by Truateo Reay that we now proceed with the reading of the minutes. Carried. Minutes of the regular meeting held on September 8, 1914, and of the special meetings hold on September 12, 19141 and September 28, 1914, were read and approved. The following bills were read: F. The Village Collector reported 44,026.19 had been collected up to October ll 1914, on Special Assessment #3 and that the same had been turned over to the Treasurer,and presented a bill for 1% for collecting for both the Collector and Treasurer amounting to $40.26 each. Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Reay that the bills be paid. Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas--Fritschs Horenberger, Juhrend, Pettis, Reay. Nays--Nono. Following bill was` read: Lincoln Pettis, Amount due for tapping 353,70 Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Reay that the bill be paid. Upon roll call the following vote was taken: Yeas--FAtsch, Horenbergert Juhrend, Pattie, Reay. Nays--None. - Moved by Trustee. Pettis and seconded by Trustee Horenberger that $100.00 be paid the,Badger Meter Mfg. Co. on account. Upon roll call the following, vote was taken: Yeas--Fritschg Horenberger, Juhrend, Pettis, Reay.
