Dear Sir:
A special meeting of the Board of Trustees was convened on Monday,
September 28, 19149 to consider your letter of September 25, 1914, and.it was
decided that the clearance of the proposed subway on Deerfield Avenue be ten
feet six inches (10' 6 ") in the clear after you, have filled in the proper amount
of stone in the.subway. This is six inches (6 ") loss than formerly agreed
upon, and as you are raising your.tracke.at least six inches, this menne: there
will be a foot less of excavating for the railroad company.
Any minor details can be settled with your engineers on the ground
while the work is in progress.
Hoping this may be satisfactory to you, and that the subway, will now
be completed without further delay, I am,
Yours very truly, ,
W. A. VI- sting, .
President. ,
Moved by Pettis and seconded by Reny to adjourn,
CAL% Carried.
/ Clerk.
