Moved by Kress and seconded by Rattis _ that the. contract. with,, . the Public
Service Company be excepted as read and that the Pres'id'ent and Clerk be

be paid and vouchers drawn on the several funds.

Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Kress that the bills
be paid.
Carried unanimously.
An ordinance for the construction of a system of Portlend Cement
concrete sidewalks on the north side of Hazel Ave. from the east side of Park
Ave. to the west side of Journal Place; on the south side of Hazel Ave. from the
%eat side of Grand Ave. to the we at side of Lincoln Ave.; on the west side of
Journal Place from the north side of Hazel Ave. to the southerly side of Lincoln
Ave.; on the east vide of Park Ave. from the south side of Hazel Ave. to the
south side of FairOaks Ave. as recommended by the Board of Local Improvements
was read.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Fritsch that the
recommendation of the Board of Local Improvements be accepted, and that the
ordinance be adopted as read.
Carried unanimously.
A petition requesting the Board to open a street from Deerfield
Ave. north 30 feet on each side of the quarter section line passing north
and south through the west half of Section 28, and signed by Knickerbocker
& Cost, %'an. E. Merriman and John C. Ender was read.
Loved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Fritsch that the
petiticn of Mr. Ender be laid on the table.,-

The President appointed the Village Marshal, Geo. Herman, as inspector
on the water vorks.
Moved by Trustee Fritsch and seconded by Trustee Pettis that the
appointment be ratified by this Board.
Carried unanimously.
President appointed Mr. Reny as Chairman, together with Mr. Kress
and Ur. Pettis, as members of the Water Committee.
Moved by Trustee Fritsch and seconded by Trustee Juhrend that the
appointment of the Mater Committee be ratified.
Carried unanimously.
Moved by Trustee Pettis and seconded by Trustee Kress that the Bond
{ of the Village Tapper be placed at 1500.

Moved by Trustee Kress and seconded by Trustee Pattie that the
ordinance be adopted as read.

An ordinance providing for the appointment of a Village Collector wee
read.
Moved by Trustee Kress and seconded by Trustee Pattie that the ordinance
be adopted as read.
Carried unanimously.

appointment of a collector be delayed until we get a bid on this work.

A revolution regularing and making rules concerning the use of water
by all persona living outside of the corporation limits of the Village of
Deerfield was read.
Moved by Trustee Fritsch-and seconded by Trustee Kress that the
resolution be adopted as read.
Carried unanimously.
