Moved by Pettis and seconded by Fritsch that the appointment of E.W. NEAYS- -None Mr. Colby reported on the matter of the subway litigation t stating that the case had been postponedrand that when it again came up he would appear in court to answer for the village. ,Moved by Pettis and seconded by Fritsch that Mr.Colby be authorized by this board to proceed in this matter as best to the interests'of the village: 3 Upon.roll call the following vote was taken:- YEAS- Frtsch, Horenberger, Juhrend, Kress, Pettis and Reay. HAES: -None .The President appointed Lincoln Pettis as Village Inspector on the watermain between Highland Park and Deerfield. Moved by Reay and seconded by Horenberger that the appointment of Lincoln PettisaoTillage Inspector for the watermain between Highland Park and Deerfield be ratified by this board. Upon roll call the following vote was taken: -YEA; Fritsch. Horenberger, Juhrend, Kress, r and Reay. NAES:- None. Present but'not voting: - Pettis. " Loved by Reay and seconded by Pettis that'Mr. Colby be paid $250 on account,for work.done on the water proposition, the same to be paid solely out of the proceeds-of the sale of water' certificates. o ' Upon roll call the following vote was taken: - YEAS;Fritsch, Horenberger, Juhrend, Kress, Pettis and Reay. NABS; None �., Moved by Reay and seconded by Pettis that the people of Bonson ville be permitted.to connect a fire plug at their own expense,they to be charged ten dollars($I0.00) per year in advance and in addition.in case of fire or when the seal is broken fifteen dollars($I5.00)for the e first time and twenty -five dollars ($25.00) for each subsequent time during the year.
